Job summary

Main Line Health's Mirmont Treatment Center is seeking a Clinical Aide to support patients' treatment day, act as a key team member, and contribute to assessments, treatment plans, and continuing care planning. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to treatment norms, and monitoring mood and behaviors to identify risk such as self-harm or agitation.

Full-time evening shift 3 pm–11:30 pm with pay range $17.00–$26.24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior behavioral health experience; addiction experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• A bachelor's or associate's degree in a human-services area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients regarding all aspects of their treatment day.
• Serve as an active member of the treatment team.
• Contribute information to assessments, treatment plans, clinical formulations, and progress notes.
• Monitor mood and behaviors to identify problem or high-risk situations and support the team with behavioral issues such as agitation or risk of self-harm.

Overview

As a Behavioral Health Clinical Aide, you will be a key component of our team ensuring our patients have a superior patient experience. You will provide guidance to patients regarding all aspects of their treatment day, serve as an active member of the treatment team, and contribute vital information to assessments, treatment plans, clinical formulations, progress notes, and continuing care planning. You will ensure patient safety at all levels of care and promote consistent accountability toward treatment norms, boundaries, and expectations. By monitoring and interacting appropriately with patients to assess mood and behaviors, you will help identify problem or high‑risk behaviors and assist the team with behavioral issues such as psychiatric, self‑harm, agitation, isolation, and aggression.
