Job summary

Lutheran Senior LIFE is seeking per diem Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to assist our elderly patients in the Secaucus area. Under the direction of the Home Care Coordinator/RN, you will support patients at home with tasks essential to their health according to individualized care plans.

Required: NJ CHHA license, high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license with insurance, and medical clearance for communicable diseases. Prior CHHA experience is preferred; we hire per diem as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Home Health Aide license in New Jersey.
• Current driver's license with proof of auto insurance.
• Safe driving record.
• Experience: minimum 1 year as CHHA with frail or elderly.
• Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in the home with duties essential to the patient’s health according to the patient’s care plan.
• Under the supervision of the Home Care Coordinator/RN, provide in-home support.
• Per diem services for patients in the Secaucus area.
