Job summary

Lutheran Senior LIFE in Jersey City is seeking per diem Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to serve our patients in the Secaucus area. Under the direction of the Home Care Coordinator/Registered Nurse, you assist participants at home with duties essential to their health per the individualized care plan.

The role requires NJ CHHA license, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance and a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Home Health Aide License — New Jersey.
• Current driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.
• Safe driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year working as a CHHA with the frail or elderly.
• Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before direct participant contact.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Home Care Coordinator/ Registered Nurse, assists participants in the home with duties essential to the patient’s health in accordance with the patient’s individualized care plan.
