Job summary

Universal Health Services' West Henderson Hospital is seeking a per diem Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons with exposure and hemostasis, enabling safe operations for patients. You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and attend to immediate patient care needs while upholding professional standards.

Responsibilities include anticipating team needs, maintaining dexterity for procedures, and ensuring privacy, safety, and compliance with hospital policies and state

Qualifications

• 3–5 years surgical tech experience required.
• 5–8 years surgical tech experience preferred.
• Education in Surgical Technology with board eligibility; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with exposure, hemostasis and other technical functions for safe operations.
• Attend to patients' direct care needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain compliance with policies and ensure dignity, privacy and safety for patients.
