Regent Surgical in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) for a per diem role in the operating room. The CST provides surgical support, scrubs with the surgeon, and aids the RN circulator throughout procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, CST certification (NBSTSA), and BLS as per ASC policy. Prior OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) verified by NBSTSA.
• BLS certification as required by ASC policy.
• Preferred: one year of current Surgical Tech experience in an OR setting.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Scrub in and assist the RN circulator; pass instruments to surgeon as needed.
• Prepare cases for the next day and restock OR as necessary.
• Ensure proper counting of sponges, instruments, and sharps.
• Clean and disinfect all tables, surfaces, and equipment between cases.
• Assist in gowning and draping of patients and assist with positioning.
