Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Certified I to prepare and distribute medications within Elliot Health System. This per diem position supports a busy outpatient location with varied shifts, Monday through Friday 7AM-7PM and weekend coverage as needed.

You will process patient-specific orders, distribute medications to health system locations, maintain automated dispensing cabinet inventory, triage calls, repackage and restock using automation, and assist pharmacists to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• NH Board of Pharmacy Technician certification required; National Technician Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare all patient-specific medications as per the provider order for pharmacist check.
• Distribute prepared medications to health system locations.
• Maintain automated dispensing cabinet medication inventory.
• Triage telephone calls to appropriate pharmacy personnel.
• Repackage and restock medications using automation and technology.
• Perform monthly floor inspections in the assigned area locations.
• Serve as pharmacist operational support during assigned shifts.
• Perform monthly floor inspections for medication storage as assigned.
