Job summary

Socorro Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. Under the direct supervision of the charge nurse, you will ensure timely and accurate med passes while maintaining high-quality resident care.

This PRN/per diem role emphasizes patient care, infection control, shift reporting, and adherence to policies. English communication is required, and previous patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• English communication in speech and writing required.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current CMA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Shift Report.
• Perform routine patient care per nursing policies.
• Employ preventative and restorative measures.
• Follow infection control hand washing guidelines.
• Report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain charting and PRN documentation per guidelines.
• Report medication reorder and participate in trainings.
