Job summary

Virtua Health in Camden is seeking a Central Sterile Supply Tech for the 3p-11p shift. You will support infection control by preparing, cleaning, and sterilizing instruments for the OR, L&D, and related areas, ensuring safe patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a sterile processing program or CRCST/CBSPD pathway.
• CRCST certification within 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, inspects and assembles surgical instruments and endoscopes for sterilization.
• Collects, cleans, disinfects patient care equipment from OR/L&D and other areas.
• Assists in orientation and training of new hires.
• Operates, monitors and documents results of sterilization equipment.
• Delivers and inventories clean and sterile equipment and supplies.
• Transports soiled and sterile instrumentation between facilities.
