NURSE (CCT RN)

IMMEDIATE HIRING! NURSE PER-DIEM

This position is for NIGHTS ON-CALL ONLY!

We’re hiring a Critical Care Transport (CCT) Nurse who is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and providing both basic and advanced patient care during inter-facility transportation of our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Nurses assess and utilize their expertise to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
2. Provide care within the Registered Nurse scope of practice as defined by the Board of Registered Nursing and per CCT standardized procedures.
3. Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
4. Act as team leader, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients, including regular equipment checks and stock management.
5. Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow crew members.
6. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training necessary for the position.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
2. Valid Driver’s License
3. Current Registered Nurse license
4. Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience or 5 years ED/CCT/Cardiac/Trauma RN experience (non-negotiable)
5. Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status
6. PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
7. ICS courses, refer to FEMA - IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
8. Critical care inter-facility transfer experience; CEN, CCRN, TNCC, or ENC Certification; BTLS/PHTL
