Job summary

Mystic Healthcare in Medford, MA is seeking a Per Diem Cardiac Sonographer to support our practice on-site with a minimum of 2 eight-hour shifts per month. Flexibility with shift times is available based on candidate availability.

The Cardiac Sonographer I will perform comprehensive echocardiograms and bubble studies for adult and pediatric patients in outpatient and hospital-based settings, ensuring high-quality images and timely preliminary findings under supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Licenses/credentials: RCS (CCI) and RDCS (ARDMS) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience: 0–1 year of sonography experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment following infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Review patient history and prior reports/images.
• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and bubble studies as indicated.
• Write preliminary reports for interpreting physician.
• Meet productivity and volume expectations per department standards.
