Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment per infection control and safety protocols.
• Review patient history and prior reports to guide exams.
• Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) within 6 months of hire.
• Write preliminary reports for interpretation.
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and accreditation efforts.
• Assist with scheduling and meet department productivity standards.
