Salinas Valley Health is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Technician for per diem shifts in Salinas, CA. You will perform non-invasive cardiac procedures, including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and treadmill stress testing, under the supervision of the Cardiology Director and Supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and at least one year of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of 12 Lead ECG course or Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status per American Heart Association.
• One year experience performing EKGs, Holter Monitors and Treadmills or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Perform non-invasive diagnostic cardiac procedures (EKG, Holter monitoring, treadmill stress testing).
• Process procedure results in MUSE system and maintain documentation.
• Immediately inform supervisor of life-threatening or questionable results.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance of cardiology equipment.
• Provide age-appropriate care and collaborate with the cardiology team.
