Job summary

Qualifications

• HS/GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 2 years of cath or EP lab experience.
• Heartsaver Certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile technique to prep room, equipment, and patient care.
• Monitor procedures and equipment; alert team to changes.
• Retrieve supplies under physician/nurse direction.
• Restock procedure room and lab stock to par levels.
• Participate in product evaluations.
• Count revolutions during rotablator procedures.
• Power up and test equipment at start of day; arrange repairs.
• Check monitoring, IVUS, pacemakers, and IABP; troubleshoot.
• Assist in patient transport to the procedure table.
• Assist in sterile setup and draping per procedure.

Skills

2 years of experience in cath or epLab

Heartsaver Certification from AHA

Education

HS/GED

Associate's degree preferred
