Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist (Contract) in New York, NY. This role features 10-hour daytime shifts Monday through Friday with on-call/callback as needed.

You will prepare the room for cardiac procedures, function in scrub/circulator/documenter roles, and support interventions across Cath, EP, and structuralHeart cases. Requires 2+ years Cath Lab Tech experience, critical care or cardiac background, and NYS licensure or RCIS; BLS and ACLS are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• Critical care or cardiac experience required.
• NY licensure requirements or RCIS/CD credentials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and sterile field for cardiac procedures.
• Scrub, circulator, documenter/monitor as needed.
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment and anticipate procedure needs.
• Support interventions in Cath, EP, structural heart, and mechanical circulatory procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation.

Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist (Contract)

Location: New York 14642
Pay: $2,594 – $2,905/week

Schedule

10-hour shifts, primarily Days (e.g., 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

On-call/callback as needed

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Prepare procedure room and sterile field for cardiac procedures

Assist in multiple roles: scrub, circulator, documenter/monitor

Operate and maintain equipment; anticipate procedure needs

Support interventions in Cath, EP, structural heart, and mechanical circulatory procedures

Maintain patient safety and ensure accurate documentation

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience

Critical care or cardiac experience required

Experience with mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo) and structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, etc.)

Licensure/Certification:

RCIS (CCI) or meet NYS Public Health Law 2824 requirements

BLS (AHA)

ACLS
