Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Group in Seattle is seeking a per diem nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its established Bariatric and Weight Management Surgery Program. You will work with a collaborative multidisciplinary team to provide care across the bariatric surgery continuum, including pre-operative assessment, post-operative follow-up, and weight management.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• New graduates with strong surgical, weight management, endocrinology, or primary care experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and follow-up visits for bariatric surgery patients.
• Provide patient education and medical management before and after bariatric surgery.
• Coordinate care with bariatric surgeons, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, exercise physiologists, and nursing teams.
• Assist in quality improvement and program development initiatives.
• Outpatient-focused practice with opportunities for inpatient support as needed.
