Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to service contracted schools in/around Purcellville, VA. The role includes game and/or practice coverage, coordinating care with the local clinical team, and supporting the athletes’ rehabilitation.

Weekly hours vary; compensation is $28.00 per hour with per diem/PRN or part-time engagement. Perks include CEUs, a nationwide support network, a 401(k) plan after 1,000 hours, and diversity in patient populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree is required.
• NATA-BOC certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Applicable state license is required.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury.
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record changes as indicated by athlete response.
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)
