Job summary

The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe seeks a Per Diem Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join Jamestown Family Health Clinic in Sequim, WA 98382. You will provide comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages and genders, including chronic disease management, diagnosis and preventive care, in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.

This role offers flexible shifts, potential weekend/holiday coverage, and exposure to EPIC systems.

Qualifications

Graduate of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner program accepted by the State of Washington for licensing.
Certification by one of the listed national certifying boards (AANPCB, ANCC, DNCB, NCC, PNCB, ONCC).
Unrestricted license to practice within Washington State.
Current DEA Certificate without restriction.
Maintain BLS Certification.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
Exceptional interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to travel locally and regionally as assigned.
Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
Pass criminal background check.
Experience and knowledge of EPIC.
American Indian/Alaska Native preferences apply.

Responsibilities

Practice medicine within scope of license, training, credentialing, and current standards of care.
Assess patient health by interviewing, physical exams, histories.
Order/interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
Perform injections and wound care, manage injuries.
Coordinate referrals and consultations with physicians/specialists.
Counsel patients on therapies, wellness, and preventive care.
Maintain safe, compliant clinic environment.
Instruct and supervise medical students and allied professionals.
Assist in billing for services and participate in quality programs.
Obtain and maintain privileges with Olympic Medical Center and WA Medicaid.
