Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree required.
• Board certification/eligibility in cardiovascular disease.
• Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Interest in academic medicine, research, and medical education encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with advanced heart failure and complex cardiovascular disease.
• Evaluate and manage patients being considered for advanced therapies including heart transplantation and LVAD.
• Participate in multidisciplinary heart failure, transplant, and MCS programs.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and imaging teams.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.

This physician will play a key role in the evaluation, treatment, and long-term management of patients with advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathies, mechanical circulatory support devices, and cardiac transplantation. The successful candidate will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, advancing clinical research, and educating the next generation of cardiovascular specialists.
