Civita Care Meadowbrook in Granby, CT is seeking per diem Activities Assistants to join our recreation team to plan, organize, and run daily resident activities including arts, crafts, performances, and programs. Weekly pay is provided and training is available for the right candidate.

The role focuses on building relationships with residents, tailoring activities to interests, and supporting the therapeutic goals of our care team while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• We can train the right candidate.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run events and activities programming for residents.
• Build relationships with residents and tailor programming to their interests.
• Organize group and individual programming.
• Generate ideas to excite and encourage participation.
• Support residents' physical, mental, social, and spiritual activities.
