Job summary

STAR ABA LLC in Connecticut is seeking a Per Diem Behavior Technician to support children with autism in home, community, clinic, and school settings. You will implement ABA-based interventions, collect data, and assist with parent training under the supervision of a BCBA.

The role involves direct 1:1 and group sessions, recording progress, and communicating with families. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is preferred; RBT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Associate's degree (60 college credits) with relevant experience considered.
• Strong organization and communication skills required.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Teaches targeted behaviors using ABA techniques and data collection.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions.
• Reinforces positive behavior and communicates progress to families.
• Coordinates transition between services and programs as needed.
• Provides direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Ensures safety and adherence to protocols.
