Job summary

STAR ABA LLC in Enfield, CT is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide ABA-based instruction and behavior reduction protocols under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work in home, community, clinic, and school settings with children who have Autism and related developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include data collection, parent training, direct 1:1 and group sessions, and adherence to prescribed protocols. Salary ranges from $20.00 to $27.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of direct relevant experience.
• OR an associate’s degree with minimum of two years of direct relevant experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Teaches targeted behaviors using specialized techniques and data collection.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions.
• Provides direct client care 1:1 and in group settings.
• Communicates with administrators, parents and community members.
• Assists with parent and caregiver training and progress reporting.
