Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft and pension administration systems.
• Hands-on experience configuring pension administration module tables and calculations.
• Deep knowledge of pension rules, eligibility, vesting, and benefit formulas.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, 415 limits, 401(a)(17) limits, and Kingston Cap.

Responsibilities

• Enhance, modify, and troubleshoot existing PeopleSoft pension processes.
• Configure pension eligibility, participation, service credits, vesting, and benefit formulas.
• Implement system changes to meet pension legislation, regulatory requirements, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Support pension calculations, estimates, and benefit processing.
• Maintain pension rules for earnings, contributions, retirement factors, and eligibility.
• Assist with retiree payroll, annual actuarial reporting, and COLA adjustments.
• Support service purchase buybacks and related system enhancements.

We’re looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Pension Administration Consultant to support enhancements, configuration, troubleshooting, and implementation of pension processes within an enterprise PeopleSoft environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PeopleSoft HCM and Pension Administration, including pension calculations, benefit rules, eligibility, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance, modify, and troubleshoot existing PeopleSoft pension processes.
• Configure and support pension eligibility, participation, service credits, vesting, and benefit formulas.
• Implement system modifications to comply with pension legislation, regulatory requirements, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Support pension calculations, estimates, and benefit processing.
• Maintain pension rules covering earnings, contributions, retirement factors, and benefit eligibility.
• Support pension loan administration and related bolt-on applications.
• Assist with retiree payroll, annual actuarial valuation reporting, and cost-of-living adjustments.
• Support service purchase buybacks and pension-related system enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft and pension administration-related systems.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and PeopleSoft Pension Administration.
• Hands-on experience configuring pension administration module tables and individual and batch calculation phases.
• Expertise in pension eligibility, participation, consolidated hours, earnings, contributions, and vesting.
• Experience with benefit formulas, death benefits, early retirement factors, and final average earnings.
• Knowledge of pension earnings limitations, including 415 limits, 401(a)(17) limits, and Kingston Cap limits.
• Understanding of overtime earning caps, statutory changes, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience with retiree payroll, pension loans, service purchase buybacks, and annual cost-of-living adjustments.
• Technical proficiency in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, and COBOL.
