Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Integration Consultant for 100% remote work in the U.S. You will design, build, and operate integrations between PeopleSoft and cloud/internal systems, focusing on Integration Broker patterns and API-friendly architectures.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of PeopleSoft development, REST/SOAP web services, and strong SQL skills. You'll mentor junior engineers, review designs, and contribute to production readiness and post-go-live

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of PeopleSoft development with a focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2).
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
• Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers, with solid engineering practices.
• Configure security on inbound/outbound services (WS-Security, OAuth2, certificates).
• Build robust error-handling and retry mechanisms with notifications and runbooks.
• Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts for hybrid integration scenarios.
• Lead migration of legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns.
• Optimize performance of high-volume integrations via queue tuning and asynchronous design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud apps (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow) and middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Maintain current technical documentation (architecture, runbooks, configurations) for supportability.
• Provide hypercare and post-go-live support including incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and integration architects to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers through code/design reviews and knowledge sharing.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedPeopleSoft Integration Broker Developerto design, build, andoperateenterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms. This role focuses specifically on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands‑on Integration Broker experience with broaderPeopleToolsknowledge and a strong understanding of API and integration design patterns. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineeredsolutions, andwill be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, anda track recordof shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
• Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, andPeopleCodehandlers, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards.
• Configure security on inbound and outbound services, including WS-Security, OAuth2, and certificate-based authentication.
• Build robust error-handling and retry mechanisms, including notifications, monitoring, and resubmission workflows.
• Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid integration scenarios.
• Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns, planning phased cutovers, building backward-compatibility shims where needed, and ensuring each migration step is reversible and well-monitored.
• Optimizeperformance of high-volume integrations through queue tuning, parallel processing, and asynchronous design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud applications (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow) and middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures — so that the systemremainssupportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over time.
• Providehypercareand post-go-live support, including incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and integration architects, gathering requirements, aligning ontechnicalapproach, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet both functional needs and broader engineering and operational standards.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and structured knowledge sharing, helping the broader team grow in technical maturity and confidence over time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ora relatedtechnical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands‑on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCodeand Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
