Job summary

DXC Technology in Arlington, VA on-site seeks a senior PeopleSoft developer to design, build, test, and support HCM customizations using PeopleCode, Application Engine, and BI Publisher, delivering reliable interfaces and reports.

You will collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and QA in a SAFe/Agile environment, maintain PUM, patching, and environment synchronization while contributing to testing, deployments, and production support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience, including 3+ years supporting PeopleSoft HCM in a Federal Government or similarly complex enterprise environment.
• Expertise with PeopleSoft stack: PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, Process Scheduler, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, SQL.
• Experience with on-prem PeopleSoft environments; OCI architecture and cloud migration awareness is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a SAFe environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support customizations, interfaces, reports, conversions, and extensions for PeopleSoft HCM using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, and SQL.
• Support PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Position Management, and Employee/Manager Self-Service, including enhancements, fixes, and production support.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve defects, data issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures across online, batch, reporting, and interface processes.
• Coordinate closely with business analysts, functional SMEs, testers, DBAs, architects, release managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions and support testing and deployment activities.
• Support PUM image adoption, de-customization efforts, PeopleTools upgrades, patching, retrofits, and environment synchronization activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Participate in SAFe/Scaled Agile ceremonies and use Azure DevOps (ADO) to track user stories, tasks, defects, sprint progress, dependencies, and delivery metrics.
