Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases.

Pay: $48-65/hr (Compensation can vary depending on experience)

General Overview

This role involves analyzing requirements, developing and testing application code, coordinating implementations, and providing ongoing production support. The ideal candidate has strong PeopleSoft expertise, proficiency in SQL and web technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Success in this role requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with both IT staff and end users.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and develop programming specifications; review and refine prepared specifications.
  • Design detailed system solutions and collaborate with the project team on approved designs.
  • Develop new application code and modify existing code as needed.
  • Create and coordinate technical implementation plans.
  • Conduct unit testing and support broader system testing efforts.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Execute implementation activities and ensure smooth deployment.
  • Provide ongoing production support, including on-call rotations and technical assistance to end users and IT staff.
  • Collaborate with the service manager to review schedules, objectives, and priorities.
  • Recommend improvements to systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist with routine departmental tasks as required.
Requirements

  • Familiarity with file handling tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
