The DET State Transforming Agency Resources (STAR) Bureau provides statewide information technology services utilizing a combination of both State-owned equipment and vendor-provided services. The division ensures the effective and efficient use of information technologies in support of Wisconsin government services and programs. It designs, administers, promotes, and supports information technology services to state agencies, local governments, tribal governments, private partners, schools, universities, libraries, and citizens.
Operating under general supervision, this position functions as a functional system expert for the State of Wisconsin’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically, Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) in the areas of HR, Absence, Time and Labor, Benefits, TAM, and Payroll.
The systems that the incumbent is responsible for are critical to the Department of Administration and the State of Wisconsin mission, with widespread impacts throughout state and local government.

Starting salary for the IS Enterprise Business Analyst Specialist (07-33) be between $35.90 - $49.00 hourly. Salary will be determined by applicant qualifications. A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be in accordance with the State Compensation Plan.
Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct fingerprinting and background checks on applicants prior to selection. DOA does not sponsor work visas and is not an eligible OPT (Optional Practical Training) employer for F-1 international students. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.
All employees are expected to live and work in Wisconsin. Certain positions within this Department may allow remote/work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit.
