Job summary

Qualifications

• 84 months of experience developing customizations, interfaces, and programs in a PeopleSoft environment developing with PeopleTools.
• 84 months of experience using Workflow configuration with Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
• 84 months of experience with administering PeopleSoft Interaction Hub 9.1 and Unified Navigation
• 84 months of programming experience configuring and customizing Smart HR Templates and Application Packages.
• 84 months of experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker.
• 84 months of experience with Phire administration and migration tasks.
• 84 months of experience using SQL against an Oracle relational database to support PeopleSoft related tasks working in a UNIX environment.
• 84 months of programming experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) version 9.2
• 84 months of experience with PeopleSoft Security Administration
• 48 months of experience with People Tools Upgrade and HCM Application PUM Upgrade.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex PeopleSoft programs and provide technical guidance to developers and cross functional teams.
• Provide technical direction focusing on HCM and PeopleSoft Interaction Hub (Portal).
• Analyze customizations versus delivered functionality and propose best approach.
• Participate in process improvement groups with customer agencies as needed.
• Document business rules for legacy applications.
• Use SQL to diagnose data issues and support PeopleSoft tasks in Oracle.
• Propose security recommendations at Interaction Hub and user access levels.
• Produce technical and functional docs, job aids, and options documentation.
• Engage in migrations using Phire and Application Designer.
• Administer and configure Phire; support environment upgrades.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve user issues; assist with end user training.

Job description

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a PeopleSoft Application Architect in Albany, NY.

Description:

The consultant must work within a designated team and coordinate with multiple developers in a technical team setting and perform expert‑level PeopleSoft Application Architect and Development Support tasks including:

• Develop complex PeopleSoft programs and provide technical guidance to one or more developers and cross functional team members.
• Perform research and provide technical direction to meet business needs with a focus on the Human Capital Management module as well as PeopleSoft Interaction Hub (Portal).
• Analyze and assess the need for customizations versus workaround with delivered functionality.
• Participate in Process Improvement work groups with customer agencies as needed
• Analyze, research, and document Business rules for legacy application functions.
• Program in Oracle Structured Query language (SQL) to resolve data issues and diagnose problems.
• Provide and implement recommendations for Security at the Interaction Hub level and user access level
• Produce documentation such as technical and functional documentation, job aids as well as detailed options documentation based on the requirements gathered from the customer.
• Engage in migrations utilizing Phire and Application Designer
• Administer and configure Phire
• Provide support for environment upgrade activities.
• Work in coordination with customers to resolve user‑based issues.
• Assist with end user training efforts as needed.

Mandatory Qualification:

• Makes high‑level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi‑leveled architecture or component interactions of a large‑scale software system.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
