Job summary

Sophus IT Solutions is seeking a seasoned PeopleSoft consultant for a hybrid Seattle-based contract role. You will lead fit/gap sessions, map requirements to PeopleSoft functionality, and drive analysis for features delivered via PeopleSoft Images.

The candidate will design, configure, and test PeopleSoft modules, perform system, integration, and UAT testing, and support data integration with external systems. Strong cross‑module communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM/ Financials modules.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Query, workflow and module configuration.
• Familiarity with Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.
• Strong communication and ability to explain impacts across modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit/gap sessions with business SMEs and map requirements to PeopleSoft functionality.
• Perform impact analysis for new features delivered through PeopleSoft Images.
• Design, configure and test PeopleSoft modules per business processes and integrations.
• Develop and run system, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support integrations (Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, inbound/outbound data such as payroll and person updates).
• Contribute to scope documents, project plans, risk registers and change management.

Systems: PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 (HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, Payroll for North America, performance, Self-Service), PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 (AP, Purchasing, GL, Project Costing, Billing, AR, Asset Management), Oracle Taleo Recruiting

Responsibilities

• Lead fit/gap sessions with business SMEs and map requirements to PeopleSoft functionality
• Perform impact analysis for new features delivered through PeopleSoft Images
• Design, configure and test PeopleSoft modules in line with business processes and integrationsPrepare functional design documents, configuration documents and functional test scripts
• Develop and run system, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support integrations (Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, inbound/outbound data such as payroll and person updates)
• Contribute to scope documents, project plans, risk registers and change management
