Job summary

Foundry Robotics seeks a hands-on People Operations lead to own onboarding, HRIS, payroll, benefits, leave, immigration, and multi-state compliance for salaried staff and a shift-based shop floor. Qualifications

• Hands-on Rippling experience is required; configured workflows, reporting, integrations.
• 5+ years in People Operations supporting hourly or shift-based workforce.
• Extremely organized; nothing falls through; a clean system.
• Data-driven by instinct; builds dashboards and analyzes attrition, retention, span of control.
• AI-efficient; uses AI tooling to eliminate manual work and can show automation impact.
• High discretion; handles compensation data, performance records, investigations, and departures.
• Understand multi-state employment, wage/hour compliance for a production environment.
• American Citizen Required

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding, HRIS, payroll, benefits, leave, immigration, and multi-state compliance for salaried staff and an hourly shift-based shop floor.
• Run Rippling as the system of record; workflows, approvals, onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, and reporting.
• Automate recurring processes; build workflows with AI tooling for drafting, analysis, policy summarization, and triage.
• Own people data end to end: headcount, attrition, span of control, flight risk.
• Quantify the cost of a bad hire: salary, ramp, manager hours, churn, and opportunity cost.
