We’re looking for a People & Talent Manager who thrives in both the human and strategic aspects of building a company. This is a dual role that blends end-to-end recruiting with people operations - ideal for someone who loves attracting great talent and building the systems that help them thrive.

You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining a strong team culture, leading our hiring efforts, and owning the entire employee lifecycle from recruiting through offboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (50%)

  • Own the entire recruiting process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating, and closing top talent across functions.
  • Write compelling, on-brand job descriptions and design sourcing strategies for each role.
  • Develop talent pipelines using LinkedIn, cold outreach, referrals, and job boards.
  • Create a world-class candidate experience with timely communication, clarity, and hospitality.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify role requirements and design effective assessments.

People Operations (50%)

  • Onboard new hires with care and clarity, setting them up for long-term success.
  • Own employee lifecycle operations: offers, contracts, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Set up and continuously improve HR processes, policies, and documentation (e.g., handbooks, leave policies, compliance).
  • Design and implement performance reviews, compensation frameworks, and growth plans.
  • Champion culture initiatives and internal communication rituals.
  • Coach managers on people-related issues and feedback practices.
  • Maintain an employee-first, compliance-conscious mindset.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a recruiting or HR generalist role (startup or high-growth environment preferred).
  • Experience in DTC/e-commerce, remote teams, or consumer products.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire high performers across multiple departments.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
  • Excellent communicator - both with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Systems-oriented thinker.
  • Passionate about building merit-based, high-performing teams.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
