North Georgia Civil Inc., also known as NGC General Contractors, is seeking an HR & Talent Manager to lead recruiting, onboarding, performance cycles, and benefits administration. This role will own the hiring pipeline from job posting to signed offers and manage a growing workforce across multiple sites, with occasional travel to project sites and events.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in HR/recruiting, strong knowledge of compliance and benefits programs, and experience with ATS tools

Qualifications

• 6+ years of HR and recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (SHRM-CP/PHR helpful).
• Experience with I-9/E-Verify, FLSA, FMLA, ACA, EEO and multi-state employment basics.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking tools (Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting cycle for office, project management, and field roles—from intake to offer.
• Keep job descriptions current and post on Indeed, LinkedIn, schools, veterans programs, and trade networks.
• Coordinate interview process and candidate evaluation, including reference checks.
• Maintain the Hiring Board and weekly pipeline reports for leadership.
• Manage relationships with outside staffing firms and negotiate terms.
• Draft offers and onboard new hires, ensuring 90‑day onboarding and performance review cycles.
