Job summary

Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari in Santa Claus, IN is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a full-time role supporting recruiting, onboarding, recognition, events, and day-to-day HR operations. This position helps ensure a welcoming, compliant workplace and coordinates the Team Member transportation program during the operating season.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in HR (preferred) and strong English communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
• 1+ year HR experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software.
• Able to work independently and in a team; detail‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support full recruiting cycle: sourcing, screening, offers, onboarding.
• Process personnel records and new-hire paperwork efficiently.
• Respond to emails, calls and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
• Grow and maintain the Volunteer Program; manage recognition/incentives.
• Coordinate Team Member transportation and vehicle maintenance scheduling.
• Assist with audits of employee files and HRIS data accuracy.
• Prepare reports on staffing, schedules, infractions, and other metrics.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, INDOT, IRS, and unemployment regulations.
