Job summary

R & D SPECIALTIES LLC. in Odessa, Texas is seeking an HR & Talent Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle. You will handle recruiting, onboarding, records, benefits, training, and employee relations to ensure a positive experience for staff.

You will collaborate with managers to ensure compliant HR processes, maintain documentation, and promote a constructive workplace culture. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous HR experience, preferably in HR generalist and recruiting role.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee documentation, benefits, and employee relations.
• Experience working with job-posting platforms and staffing agencies preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States now.
• Must live within 40 miles of Odessa, Tx

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Staffing: Manage recruiting activities from job posting through hire.
• New-Hire Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance through orientation.
• Employee Records & Benefits: Maintain confidential personnel files and HR records; assist with benefits enrollment.
• Training & Development: Coordinate and track employee and management training.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as HR resource for questions; support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Promote positive employee relations and workplace culture.
