Sage is seeking a People Services Team Lead in Lawrenceville, GA for a hybrid role based three days a week. You will guide a team of Global People Services Specialists and ensure high-quality service across the employee lifecycle.

You’ll coach and develop staff, resolve complex escalations, manage resources to meet SLAs and KPIs, and build knowledge resources while upholding confidentiality and compliance. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in HR, 2+ years in people leadership, a bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct people leadership.
• HR Shared Services supervisory experience is preferable.
• Experience across the full employee life cycle: resourcing, onboarding, payroll, and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree and PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee effective delivery of Tier 1 People Services.
• Escalate and resolve complex colleague queries; escalate when needed.

Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a dynamic People Services Team Lead to guide and inspire a team of Global People Services Specialists. In this role, you will ensure processes, policies, and standard operating procedures are followed, while acting as the first point of escalation for complex colleague queries—resolving issues directly or escalating where required. You’ll manage resources to deliver exceptional customer service in line with SLAs and KPIs, investigating service gaps and driving improvements where needed.With a strong grasp of multiple policies and legacy agreements, you’ll provide accurate guidance and ensure smooth administration. Beyond operational excellence, you’ll play a key role in people leadership—onboarding, coaching, and developing team members, setting performance expectations, and fostering a culture of engagement, growth, and collaboration.You will also lead the creation and maintenance of knowledge resources, champion compliance, and safeguard confidentiality while upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity. This is an exciting opportunity to combine leadership with operational expertise, ensuring both service excellence and a positive employee experience.What are we looking for?We are looking for an experienced People Services Team Lead with a proven track record of managing large, customer-focused teams and driving a high-performance culture.With 8+ years of experience in HR you will bring strong knowledge of HR processes across the full employee life cycle—including resourcing, onboarding, payroll, and compliance—while staying up to date with employment legislation.You will be confident in coaching, consulting, and guiding others, helping your team solve problems effectively and deliver exceptional service.Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll engage with employees at all levels, provide constructive feedback, and lead discussions with impact.A high level of Microsoft Office proficiency is required, and experience with HR systems, SharePoint, or ServiceNow HRSD will be highly valued.A bachelor’s degree, PHR certification, and familiarity with adapting policies to respond to internal or external changes are preferred.Most importantly, you’ll foster a supportive, collaborative environment where people feel motivated, engaged, and empowered to grow, while ensuring high standards of accuracy, consistency, and service excellence across People Services.Experience:An ideal candidate will have 2+ years of direct people leadership.HR Shared Services supervisory experience is preferable.Perks?
