Job summary

Lifelong Learning Administration Corporation is seeking a People Services Manager - Employee Relations to collaborate across People Services, School Leadership, and Administration. The role focuses on ER projects, policies, investigations, and compliance to improve morale and minimize legal risk.

You will coach managers, analyze data, run ER reports, and ensure regulatory adherence while maintaining confidentiality and supporting a productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business, or related field or 2 years’ equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in HR/Employee Relations and program management preferred.
  • Certification in HR (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-SCP/CP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze ER matters and recommend appropriate employment action.
  • Initiate efforts to maintain data integrity and troubleshoot ER issues.
  • Run reports on ER services, metrics, and analytics; report progress.
  • Coach and train managers in ER practices and conflict resolution.
  • Communicate with employees on ER concerns and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with managers on performance issues and corrective actions.
  • Stay current with federal, state, and local laws to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution between employees and supervisors.

The duties may include, but are not limited to ER projects, ER policies and procedures, ER investigations and ER compliance. This position will focus on resolving work-related problems and confer with leadership to determine appropriate action to maintain a productive work environment and achieve optimal performance while improving employee morale, employee satisfaction and minimizing legal risk. This position performs job duties with high standards of confidentiality regarding sensitive data, records, and situations. This position reports to the Director of People Services – Employee Relations or designee.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: This job description is intended to accurately reflect the duties, responsibilities, and requirements of the position. Equivalent experience is included in and not separate from total years of professional experience.3 years’ experience in one or more of the following: designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide programs and project management in Human Resources, HR, and Employee Relations is required.2 years’ experience in management roles is preferred.Human Resources industry certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP or CP) is preferred.Experience managing and supporting dynamic HR teams for effective collaboration and outcomes.Advance level in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology applications.Ability to travel in performance of job duties.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Vision: Ability to read small print and view a computer screen for prolonged periods, prepare, or inspect documents and operate office equipment.Hearing: Ability to hear average or typical conversations and receive ordinary information.Speech: Ability to be understood in face-to-face communication, in person or remote, to speak with a level of proficiency and volume to be understood over a telephone or computer.Mental Demands: Ability to read, write, understand, interpret, and apply information at a moderately complex level essential for successful job performance; math skills at a high school proficiency level; judgement and the ability to process information quickly; learn quickly and follow verbal procedures and standards; give verbal instruction; rank tasks in order of importance; copy, compare, compile and coordinate information and records.
