Job summary

Stripe's People Operations and Insights team seeks an experienced Project Manager to champion delivery across HR, finance, legal, product and tech. You will lead projects end-to-end, navigating complex dynamics and ensuring adoption of high-priority initiatives with stakeholders and users.

We require 7+ years in project management or related fields, a data-driven mindset, and excellent communication. A hybrid remote-friendly model is available within the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting, with at least 2 years operating within an HR team at a company.
• Proven track record of navigating complexity and driving results with urgency and thoughtfulness.
• Experience working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, Product, Tech and Leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset for decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across stakeholders.
• Proficiency in PM tools (Asana, Jira, Airtable) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Tackle hard, ambiguous questions with rigor and independence, owning projects from problem definition to final recommendation.
• Develop and implement project plans, optimize workflows and ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and engineering to identify process and control improvements.
• Establish and maintain project governance with standards and best practices.
• Prepare materials to present to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the People team.
