Job summary

Abnormal AI is redefining how HR operates in an AI-first world. As People Programs Manager, you will own the performance and pay cycle from start to finish, run post mortems, and partner with Analytics to close gaps in People data.

You’ll drive cross-functional projects and lead change management for AI adoption within HR. You will also partner with Total Rewards, HRBPs, and L&D to build a scalable program calendar, establish lightweight project infrastructure, and support IPO readiness efforts

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in People Operations or HR programs.
• Experience owning complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end.
• Strong working knowledge of performance management and compensation cycle execution.
• Experience conducting post mortems or retrospectives on programs.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and building structure where little exists.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with AI tools in HR/People context; hands-on AI experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with HRIS (Workday), project management tools (Asana/Notion), and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end performance and pay cycles, in partnership with HRBPs, Total Rewards, and People leadership.
• Run formal post mortems after each cycle, documenting learnings and recommended improvements.
• Own People team's program calendar and roadmap, coordinating across HRBPs, Total Rewards, TA, and L&D; build lightweight project infrastructure.
• Diagnose cross-functional pain points and build processes to address them.
• Ensure relevant People data is accessible with proper permissions and governance.
• Act as change management lead for AI adoption within HR, including rollout plans and training materials.
• Build rewards/recognition programs for AI Transformation with Transformation team.
• Assist with IPO readiness programs.
