Job summary

Pursuit is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to serve as the primary People partner for Support Services at Director level and below. This salaried role balances strategic partnership with hands-on execution across performance, workforce planning, and recruiting support.

Based in Denver with a hybrid schedule (3 in-office days, 2 remote) and travel to Calgary, Canada for one week per month, you’ll drive HR strategy, coach leaders, and ensure an engaging, compliant employee experience

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a People Business Partner or similar role supporting corporate or support functions.
• Experience with an HRIS system required, Workday or Paradox preferred.
• Experience supporting both the US and Canada preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and passport enabling cross-border travel.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or HR certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People partner for Support Services leaders at the Director level and below.
• Provide day-to-day support and coaching on employee relations, team dynamics, and manager effectiveness.
• Lead workforce planning for Director‑level and below roles and coordinate with Talent Acquisition.
• Partner with leaders to design organization changes and role clarity to support growth and performance.
• Coach leaders on change management and policy execution across Support Services.
