Job summary

Rune is seeking a People Ops Lead in Mountain View, CA to own recruiting, people operations, and compliance. You will drive full-cycle hiring across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, site operations, and field roles while shaping the HRIS, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and performance practices for a fast-growing hardware/energy startup.

You will also own state-by-state employment compliance, immigration programs, and records management, partnering with Finance and outside counsel on

• Proven ability to own full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions.
• Experience building and managing HRIS, payroll, benefits, and onboarding processes.
• Experience owning employment compliance across multi-state locations and immigration programs.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across functions including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and field roles.
• Manage HRIS stack, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and performance processes.
• Oversee employment compliance in multiple states, wage-hour rules, and immigration and workers' compensation processes.
