Job summary

myKaarma is seeking a People Operations professional to own day-to-day HR operations for US and Canadian employees. You will manage payroll review, benefits administration, and lifecycle workflows, ensuring reliable, easy-to-use systems.

You’ll identify gaps, improve workflows, and help employees maximize resources, while maintaining policy guidance and compliance across our hybrid setup. On-site two days/week in Long Beach or Pittsburgh is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing HR operations including payroll and benefits.
• Solid understanding of US wage-and-hour laws and compliance.
• Experience with HRIS and improving workflows and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and offboarding processes with accurate records and workflows.
• Administer benefits enrollments and coordinates with brokers.
• Review payroll inputs and resolve discrepancies before deadlines.
• Lead HR compliance reviews and reporting, including EEO-1 and Form 5500 when applicable.
• Maintain and update HR policies and employee guidance.
• Optimize Rippling workflows and employee data to reduce manual work.
