Job summary

Reserv, an insurtech, is seeking a People Operations Generalist to shape a seamless employee experience across onboarding, HR support, performance programs, and compliance in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.

You will partner with leadership and teams, manage confidential data, deliver workforce planning and development programs, and drive continuous improvement while staying current with labor laws and internal policies. This role welcomes initiative and growth-minded professionals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in People Operations (HR).
• Proficiency with HR systems.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Located in eligible U.S. state; willing to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver People activities throughout the end-to-end cycle of an employee's time at Reserv: onboarding to HR questions to offboarding.
• Onboarding: gather information and onboard in HRIS compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
• Serve as a point of contact to team members, answer questions, and help employees navigate inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality of core HR data and projects.
• Support HR programs related to workforce planning, employee engagement, performance reviews, promotion process, and talent development in a remote environment.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to overall efficiency of People Operations.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on changes.
• Maintain and update internal HR documentation and policies.

Reserv is an insurtech creating and incubating cutting-edge AI and automation technology to bring efficiency and simplicity to claims. Location Requirement

Candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state throughout employment. We are unable to hire candidates residing in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States.

About the role

We are looking for a People Operations Generalist to help create a seamless and supportive experience for every employee at Reserv. In this role, you’ll own key processes across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and HR support to performance programs and compliance—while acting as a trusted partner to both team members and leadership. What you'll do

• Help deliver People activities throughout the end-to-end cycle of an employee's time at Reserv: from onboarding to HR questions during their time here to offboarding.
• Onboarding: Work with TA stakeholders to gather information needed to onboard employees & accurately onboard in HRIS in compliance with applicable internal policies and external regulations.
• Serve as a point of contact to team members, answer questions, and help employees navigate inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality of core HR data and projects.
• Support in delivering HR programs and processes related to workforce planning, employee engagement, performance reviews, promotion process, and talent development in a remote environment.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the overall efficiency of People Operations.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on relevant changes
• Maintain and update internal HR documentation and policies

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in People Operations (HR)
• Proficient with HR systems
• High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
• Strong interpersonal skills, good intuition, and the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently to manage multiple ongoing projects and programs with high attention to detail and organizational skills
• Decisive problem solver with a "get it done" attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
• Exceptional ethics around confidentiality and highly sensitive information
• Keen to continue learning and developing their skill set, having a growth mindset
