Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami is seeking a Specialist, Human Resources to support the Newbuild Team on a full-time, onsite basis. The role serves as the first line of HR support for front line employees and managers, handling recruitment, onboarding, employee experience, and information requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations or business administration.
• Minimum of two years of generalist experience in human resources.
• Exercises influence with business clients and HR centers of excellence.
• Communicates persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
• Applies critical and conceptual thinking to data-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• First line of HR support to the business, consulting on general HR questions, benefits inquiries.
• Collaborates with managers and HRBP in preparation of disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Works closely with business leaders and recruitment on position management and HR systems updates.
• Pulls reports and maintains reports on the status of requisitions/positions.
• Supports HR team with workforce changes and system transactions for these changes.
• Prepares materials for pulse survey, talent reviews and year-end appraisal processes.
• Acts as a cultural change agent for HR transformation.
• Prepares internal offer and promotion letters and retains documentation in employee file.
• Coordinates the new hire experience and onboarding activities.
• Participates in talent reviews, succession planning, engagement actions and HR projects.
