Job summary

Cognite, a leader in industrial AI and data solutions, is seeking a People Operations Manager to act as the operational backbone of US/AMER People. This hands-on role ensures accurate payroll, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS management, benefits administration, and first-line employee support in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR Operations or People Operations experience.
• Experience with HRIS (HiBob) and payroll vendors (ADP).
• Working knowledge of US federal and Arizona state employment law.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business; SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Hybrid in Phoenix/Tempe, AZ - 3 to 4 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll coordination with ADP and ensure timely inputs.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding for US/AMER employees.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and reporting.
• Provide first-line employee support via Jira.
• Support compliance with US federal and state laws.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and Finance on headcount changes.
• Drive process automation and SOP documentation.
