Arc Boat Company is seeking a summer intern for the People team in Torrance, CA, from June 14th to August 20th, 2027. You’ll work in a fast-paced startup setting, supporting daily People operations and driving process improvements.

You’ll help with training content, payroll support, compliance paperwork, and engagement activities while learning HR systems like Rippling, Greenhouse, and CultureAmp. This role starts a career in People Ops within a dynamic marine-energy company.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the People team and broader programs.
• Coordinate and implement process improvements for workflows.
• Create training content and manage course assignments in EasyLlama.
• Audit and correct employee records and internal systems.
• Assist payroll by tracking changes and auditing timecards.
• Prepare compliance paperwork and track deadlines.
• Coordinate company retreat planning and logistics.
• Support new-hire engagement activities and recognition programs.
• Be proactive in a fast-paced startup environment.
