Job summary

Accelevation is seeking a People Operations Intern for Summer 2027 at our Miamisburg, OH headquarters. You will gain exposure to onboarding, payroll, benefits, leave administration, compensation, HR analytics, and process improvement while supporting key People Operations initiatives.

This hands-on program places you alongside experienced HR professionals to contribute to data management, reporting, SOP creation, and employee lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in HR, People Operations, or workforce analytics.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding activities, including new hire preparation and orientation coordination.
• Assist with employee data entry, record maintenance, and HR system updates.
• Support offboarding activities and related documentation processes.
• Partner with payroll to learn processes, audits, and reporting.
• Assist benefits with enrollment support, audits, and resources.
• Support leave administration, case tracking, and reporting.
• Assist compensation with market research and metric development.
• Create SOPs and training materials.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
• Present recommendations to HR leadership as appropriate.
