Job summary

Power Design is seeking a People Operation Coordinator to maintain HR data integrity across Workday and related systems. You will analyze HR/payroll data, develop dashboards, and collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to drive data-driven decisions.

This role supports the People Experience team and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in HR data analytics, strong Excel and data visualization skills, and the ability to translate business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
• 1+ years of experience in HR data analytics, HRIS administration, or business intelligence (Workday experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization; Power BI/Tableau a plus.
• Experience with Jira or other project management systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain employee data within Workday, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Create, update, and validate Workday reports and dashboards to support internal business needs and leadership initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to troubleshoot data issues, ensure system integration accuracy, and implement process improvements.
• Provide analytical insights and workforce metrics to support strategic decision-making and operational reporting.
• Perform regular audits of HR and payroll data to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Support implementation of system enhancements, testing, and data migrations during Workday optimization projects.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, reporting standards, and data governance procedures.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical data solutions.
• Assist with data security, privacy, and user access management within HR systems.

About The Position

The People Operation Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of Power Design’s people data. This role supports the People Experience team by analyzing HR and payroll data, developing reports and dashboards, and ensuring the accuracy of information within Workday and other related systems. The role collaborates with stakeholders across departments to enhance data-driven decision-making, support compliance efforts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Power Design’s HR systems.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field required.
• 1+ years of experience working in HR data analytics, HRIS administration, or business intelligence (Workday experience strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization tools; experience with Power BI or Tableau a plus.
