Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of related HR experience.
• PHR/SHRM-CP credential preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in high-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Administers health and welfare plans including enrollments and changes.
• Processes payroll and insurance documents for accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
• Provides HR-related customer service to employees.
• Completes Forms I-9 and maintains I-9 files.
• Assists with background checks and new-employee screenings.
• Reconciles benefits statements and audits payroll/benefits.
• Assists with performance reviews and recruitment processes.
• Schedules meetings and interviews with the director of HR.
