Hourly Range: $27-29/hour
The People OperationsCoordinatorprovides essential administrative and operational support across the People & Culture department, with primary responsibility for onboarding administration and employee lifecycle processes. This role ensures accuracy and confidentiality in employee records, processes HRIS transactions, coordinates onboarding activities, and supports day-to-day People Operations functions. Serving as a first point of contact for routine employee inquiries, the People OperationsCoordinatordelivers responsive, professional service whilemaintainingcompliance with established policies and procedures. By providingaccurateadministrative support and fostering a welcoming onboarding experience, this role helps deliver a consistent, people-first experience for employees.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Administration (40%)
Administer the onboarding process from offer acceptance to first day, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and providing a welcoming experience for new hires
Conduct and track I-9 verifications,monitorE-Verify compliance, andmaintaindocumentation per federal and state requirements
Coordinate onboardinglogistics, including systems access (HRIS, payroll, benefits), account setup, badges, and new hire announcements
Processemployee lifecycle transactions, including hires, transfers,compensation changes,andpromotions, by enteringaccurateinformation into the HRIS
Maintain complete andaccuratepersonnel records in compliance with retention requirements
People & Culture Administrative Support (35%)
Manage the People & Cultureinbox, serving as the first point of contact forresponding to routine inquiries and directing more complex matters to theappropriate People & Cultureteam member
Maintain digital employee files with accuracy, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements and audit readiness
Provide administrative support for day-to-day People & Culture operations, includingmaintainingdepartment records, processing documentation, and completing routine administrative tasks
Compliance & Culture Programs (25%)
Support distribution of company policies and maintenance of employee acknowledgementsin accordance withestablished procedures
Help coordinatelogistical support forculture-building activities (events,companylunches,recognitionevents) that reinforce company values
Actively model company values in all interactions, serving as a culture ambassador and reinforcing a consistent, people-first workplace

1–2years of experience in a People & Culture, Human Resources, or administrative support role
In lieu of relevant HR experience, aBachelor’s Degree inHuman Resources,Business Administration, or related fieldisrequired
Familiarity with HRIS/People systems and basic employment regulations preferred
Strong attention to detail with proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities, while meeting deadlinesin a fast-paced environment
Excellent follow-up skills and a keen sense of urgency fortime sensitivematters
