Your Mission in Action
The People Operations(PO)Clerkis responsible forpersonnel file maintenance for ORR, recordkeeping,vaccine recordsauditing and other People and Culture team assignments.The PO Clerkassiststhe PO Specialist and PO Manager when needed inPeople Operations functions.
Responsibilities
- Create, organize, andmaintainemployee files;maintainstrict confidentiality of all employee files, records, and information; audit employee files to ensure compliance withagency and licensing standards as it relates to the record keeping of employee personnel files
- Responsible for vaccine record keeping and auditing
- Empowered to report any alleged policy, procedure, federal, state, or local law violation toHQPeople Operations forassistanceand/or investigation
- Assistwithnew hire pre-employment process to include offer letter - as perHQPeople Operations, background checks, pre-employment verification, pre-employment drug and TB testing, I-9 verification, recordkeepingand tracking.
- Assistwith the notification to new hires upon hire of onboarding items, benefit enrollment and Upbring policies and information, as well as benefit enrollment reminder prior to deadline
- Develop andmaintainstrong working relationships with the People and Culture department and ORR team, internal and external customers, vendors, andauditor Assistwith annual MVR checks
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1)year of human resources administrative experience
- Bilingual in Spanish (written and spoken)
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
PreferredQualifications
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Working knowledge of HR practices and trends
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, pay close attention to detail and meet deadlines
Travel
- This position may berequiredto travel upto10%

- Position works in a child facility and has constant exposure to children
- Position requires frequent standing, walking and time in units/cottages which are areas where childrenreside
