Job summary

Favor is seeking a People Operations Specialist to manage employee lifecycle tasks, onboarding, benefits, and HR data accuracy. This role partners with H-E-B to ensure cross-company alignment and maintains confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

You will support onboarding/offboarding workflows, system administration of Workday and other platforms, and contribute to employee experience initiatives within a hybrid Austin-based team.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or comparable formal training, certification, and/or work experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in benefits, data analysis, payroll, HR systems.
• Strong understanding of the employee benefits landscape, processes, and compliance.
• Foundational understanding of employment law (FMLA, FLSA, EEOC, etc.).
• The ability to lift and carry about 30 lbs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite products.
• Experience with Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Benefits administration across open enrollment, 401(k), FSA, and related programs.
• Design benefits communications and training materials for staff and leadership.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding workflows with HR systems.
• Audit data with H-E-B to ensure cross-company alignment.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and run monthly HR analytics reports.
• Support employee recognition, milestones, and town hall content.
